September Already!

Okay so here are some of my thoughts for today:

Item number one: What are all of the good t.v. shows? I am totally missing

Second Item: It is already September. Is that crazy to anyone else? Yay Fall. Though I love summer, fall is just such a fabulous time.

Here are my fall pros:

...it makes me want to buy school supplies

and by that I mean that I am excited for school to start becuase the sooner it starts, the sooner it ends. This is my last semester before student teaching and I can't wait to be done with school.

I love making pumkin pies from scratch. I always though that I hated pumpkin pies but do you know what?

I was wrong.

I found this fabulous recipe a few years ago and have been making it ever since. My favorite is to buy mini individual pie crusts. Mmmm.

Why I will miss summer aka. fall cons

I don't have time to read for pleasure during school. I enjoyed reading the Twilight series, The Secret Life of Bees, The Wind in the Willows, and The Choice... I think that's all.

My reading now includes essays on NCLB (nochildleftbehind) and why Bush should be murdered for ever dreaming of it (roll of eyes), L2 learners (secondlanguagelearners), and neoliberlism and the governments agenda with controlling school.

For those of you who are unaware 1. it is election time 2. NAU = the most liberal of the liberals 3. they care to share it with all so they decided to become a college professor so that students pay 30+ dollars a class to listen to their ideas

Whew, well, I did warn that these were my thoughts.
