What do you say we leave for California?

Derek and I met up with Eric and Ny to head to California for our yearly visit our favorite Hunnington and Newport spots.
Our first stop was Knott's Berry Farm where we rode the new "Pony Express" which just so happened to be my favorite ride. You sit on a "horse" that keeps you leaning forward as you go through the rollercoaster. I thought it was great and made everyone stay on to take another ride.
Here is PROOF that Derek went on Supreme Scream, an effort that Cullen has been making for years. I would have gone but had we just gone on Ghostrider, which was the worst decision I have made in years, and resulted in my brain getting wrecked.
Here's the crew on Perilous Plunge, you can mostly see Eric and Ny in the thirdish row but part of Derek's face is visible behind the huge splash. I am not visible in the picture but had the driest pants and provided this incredible photo ;)
We visited all of our favorite spots to eat including Jane's Corndogs, TK Burger and Orignal Pizza. We added to those favorites The Crab Cooker, and The Red Mango which has the BEST SMOOTHIES in the WORLD. I've already told Derek that from this time forward if he EVER sees a Red Mango to just pull over no matter what the situation, I suggest that you do the same.
Below we are at our favorite spot to watch dudes with ocean tricks and boats - the wedge.

It was so refreshing to take a short trip to get out of Arizona and see the sights.
Our sights included :
Scuba Steve and the Scuba Squad
which are here seen departing for an underwater adventure at
about five at night.

Their destination? As far as we could tell the only thing worth scuba-ing would be
Poop Rock, currently inhabited by 58 Seagulls.

We also drove around looking for the Cohen's house but ened up finding the most creative
use of shingles I have ever seen.
I'm guessing it's a whale's head?

We did, of course, see some fabulous sunsets, two weddings, and a million palm trees.

The trip was short but we got in some great rollercoaster riding, fabulous shopping, incredible eating, and beatiful sight seeing.

Until next year...
