This picture was taken almost two years ago at my wedding...
a few weeks ago Derek and I were able to go to Zach and Melissa's beautiful wedding. I am so happy for them and Melissa could not have looked more beautiful!

I, on the other hand, couldn't look much more pregnant! I have just a few weeks left and am counting down the days!
Currently I am enjoying activities such as:
being productive from the hours of 1-4 a.m.
making Cooper's crib set
garage sale-ing for baby stuff
making lists to remind me of all the stuff I want to get done
walking every morning to try to encourage Cooper to join us in the world
Any good advice on getting through the last weeks or encouraging Cooper to join us?

Things you should do now that you won't do as much after you have the baby: play the guitar, craft your world, make out with your husband, sleep longer that is needful, eat whatever you want. Bye.
i know the feeling all too well! when i was as far along as you are my husband and i walked about a mile every other day. :) not sure if that had anything to do with him coming 11 days early or not but i like to think it wasn't in vain since it was kinda miserable! ha. well good luck!
You look so good Kacie! Enjoy the quiet time to yourself, if there is anything you are reading finish it up now, Take long warm baths, sleep as long as you feel like and then some! Having a baby around is so much fun but so tiering and I know you are ready for him to be here but remember once he's here alot of your quiet time is gone.
I don't think anything works to encourage cooper to come on out. If he is cozy in there then he is gonna stay fora while. I tried everything and still went induced a week late. If you figure something out let me know. I agree with the others. Enjoy doing nothing for a while because those days will be hard to find soon.
I love reading your blog, you are one funny lady! So here is something random for you- about a week ago we had some people over to our apartment out here in D.C. and one of them was a girl named Julie Anderson, who said she had an old roommate from Pinetop- a Miss Kacie Thompson! What are the odds that we'd run into your old roommate clear across the country? Small world...
Don't rush it, haha i know it is miserable being prego and ready to pop. But like everyone is saying enjoy your time with Derek. Enjoy being you 2 enjoy the rest and quiet time. And keep walking when you can. I don't know if there is even a trick or anything to get that baby out. Cooper will come when he is ready.
I'm not sure if any of the advise I was given was helpful. Everyone says "Sleep while you can". That's crap. You never know how you will sleep. Jack slept 10-12 hours until he was 1, so you just never know what Cooper will do. Advise I can give is this...pack now. You never know if you will go into labor, and you will WANT to have a bag ready by the door. Other than that, GOOD LUCK!
